May 2016 Glossybox

It’s that Glossybox time of the month again! I get so excited when I see that delightful box sitting on my doorstep. For those of you who do not know what Glossybox is, it is a monthly subscription service that sends luxury samples and even sometimes full size beauty products. It’s $21 dollars a month, making it a little more expensive that Ipsy Bag or other similar services, but let me tell you, so far it has been worth it. Here is my referral link if you would like to give it a try! https://www.glossybox.com/referal?CI=MjYwMzA2

So let’s take a look inside!

I was excited that this month’s box included a shampoo and conditioner sample (it’s a pretty good size sample). There is nothing worse than buying new shampoo and conditioner and hating it. I was hoping for some more makeup products, my last few boxes have been primarily hair and skincare.

Let’s take a closer look at the products…

Talika – Photo Hydra Day

I was a little confused with this product, I couldn’t tell if it was a body moisturizer or a face moisturizer, but I am assuming face since the product says “face specific”. I am excited to try this out, as it contains hyaluronic acid, which is key for keeping skin hydrated.

Rituals Cosmetics – Shower Foam in Zensation

I have never tried a foaming body wash… but I am intrigued. It smells really nice, the scent reminds me of Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom, but a little less sweet.

Versaspa – Face Moisturizing Gradual Tanner

Not a huge fan of gradual tanners, especially for my face. I find that self-tanning products turn me a little orange. But I will give it a whirl, after all, it is spring and I need to start getting my glow on.

Nioxin – 3 System Cleanser and Scalp Therapy Conditioner

I’ve never tried Nioxin products before, but I have heard good things. These deluxe sample sizes are the perfect travel size. I also like how the products is designed for thin hair, let’s see if it will give my thin locks some volume.

Benefit Cosmetics – Roller Lash Super Curling & Lifting Mascara

Pardon my hands, I couldn’t get this bad larry to stop rolling (no pun intended). I am a big fan of benefits products, however not a big fan of their mascaras. I am excited to try this out, I am hoping it will reshape my thoughts on Benefit mascaras.

What did you all get in your May Glossybox?!
