November Fashion & Beauty Favorites

It is hard to believe that November is almost over! I am excited for December (CHRISTMAS!!), but I am still in denial that winter is coming (cue Game of Thrones theme song). I’ve been a little spendy this month (the sales are too good!), but I wanted  to make sure that I shared my most worn pieces, and beauty products I have been loving.

Fashion Favorites

Leith Ruched Long Sleeve Dress

Leith. Ruched Long Sleeve Dress, Nordstrom $59

I am obsessed with this dress, I have it in three colors already and I want more (it’s time for an intervention!). But on the serious side, this is probably my most worn item this month. This dress is perfect for work when paired with a blazer or cardigan, and on weekend date nights with the hubby I like to pair it with OTK boots and a faux leather or suede jacket. Size tip: this dress runs small, I would recommend sizing up, I wear a  medium.

BP Dolman Sleeve Sweater

BP. Dolman Sleeve Sweater, Nordstrom $39

This sweater is such a steal. It looks and feels way more expensive than it is. I have it in black and grey urban (looks more green in person), but I have the pink adobe color in my basket currently. I love pairing this with denim and booties for a sleek, comfortable, easy to put together look.

Rails Tarten Button-Down Shirt

Rails. Tartan Button-Down Shirt, Saks Off 5th, $59.99 (Pictured above)

Rails is my all-time favorite flannel brand. Their shirts are buttery soft and the come in the best colors. The downside is that they can be quite pricey, but if you can usually find sale styles.  I love wearing this shirt open with a white t-shirt or lace trimmed cami underneath and distressed denim. Size tip: I would recommend sizing up if you want a more oversized look, I wear a medium.

High Rise Busted Skinny, Free People $78

I have posted about these jeans more than I care to admit. They are seriously the perfect distressed jeans, and with a price tag of $78 they will not break your budget. I wear these at least 2-3 times a week, and they come in so many washes!

Beauty Favorites

Makeup

Chanel Foundation

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Sunscreen Makeup, Nordstrom $50

This foundation is HOLY GRAIL status. I have been using this foundation for years, and occasionally I will try a new foundation, but I always come back to this. It has the perfect amount of coverage for those who prefer light-medium coverage, the smell is amazing, and it gives your skin a healthy glow without being greasy. This product lasts ALL DAY, I’ve worn this foundation for a 12-hour shift with no re-touching and it still looks amazing.

Mac Pro Longwear Concealer

MAC. Pro Longwear Concealer, Nordstrom $23

Over the past few months I have been trying out other concealers, but I began using this again after running out of another product and I forgot how much I loved it. I tend to get pretty dark circles under my eyes, and this does the trick. I work long days, and this stuff NEVER creases. I would highly recommend this product.

Bobbi Brown High Shimmer Gloss

Bobbi Brown. High Shimmer Lip Gloss, Nordstrom $28

I bought this on a whim this past month (I normally do not spend this much on lip gloss), but let me tell you, it was worth it. I have the shades Bellini and Pastel and they are both the perfect shade of nude pink (Bellini is more of a peachy color, Pastel is more pink). The formula is moisturizing, not sticky and looks beautiful on any complexion. I love that this is neutral enough to wear to work, but also has a sexy sparkle for date nights.

Skincare

Sunday Riley Power Couple

Sunday Riley. Power Couple: Total Transformation Kit, Sephora $85

I picked this duo up during the VIB sale after reading amazing reviews about both products. I have been using both products all month long and I have noticed a big difference in my skin. Considering both products value over $100 dollars each, this kit is a great deal. The kit includes two products, the Luna Sleeping Oil and Good Genes Treatment, both .5 oz (seems small, but you only have to use a very small amount of each product).

Luna Sleeping Night Oil – I use this every other night (I have dry skin, and retinol can cause irritation), and I have notices a big difference in the texture of my skin. I have started to notice the fine lines around my mouth fading, and overall my skin looks plump and refreshed when I wake up.

Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment – I use this two-three times a week, layered over the Luna Sleeping Oil. Lactic acid helps exfoliate the skin, and this product does just that. After using at night, I wake up with glowing, soft skin. Only downside is the smell, it’s pretty strong if you do not like herbal scents.

Banila Co. Clean It Zero Classic, Soko Glam $21

This cleansing balm is a game changer. I recently tried a full Korean skincare routine (post coming soon), and this was by far my favorite. I was an avid user of makeup wipes prior to using this product, but no longer. You apply this on dry skin, before washing and it literally melts of your makeup. I haven’t used a makeup wipe in months!

Hair

Pravanna

Pravana. The Perfect Blonde Purple Toning Shampoo, Amazon

My hair is a very cool shade blonde, so purple shampoo is a must. I have tried a lot of purple shampoos, but I find that this one is the best. It definitely tones, but it also leaves my hair silky soft and not weighed down. I would highly recommend for any blondes out there! It also comes in a duo with the conditioner (I have not tried).

Well, that is all for this month, thank you for reading! What are you all loving this month?

XO,
