It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! And with Christmas comes cold weather. I have dry skin year round, so this time of year is crucial to keeping my skin hydrated. Here is my current Winter skincare routine for healthy, glowing skin.

Evening Skincare

Step 1: Cleanse

Clean It Zero Classic, Banila Co. $16

I tried this product out when I was trying a full Korean skincare routine (review coming soon!), and I am now obsessed. You apply this on dry your face at the end of the day and it melts off your makeup. I have been using this instead of makeup wipes and I have noticed a big difference in my skin.

Step 2: Double Cleanse

Kleansing Lotion, Skoah $35

I am allll about the double cleanse. After the Banila Co. cleansing balm, I use this to wash off my remaining makeup. I have been getting facials at Skoah in Boston for the past year now (I would highly recommend, and they are affordable!), and this is one of my favorite products. It is the most gentle and hydrating cleanser, and leaves my skin so soft and clean, without feeling stripped.

Step 3: Tone

Beauty Water, Son & Park $30

This toner is amazing. It is super mild, but gently exfoliates and leaves your skin glowy and hydrated. This is definitely a holy grail product!

Step 4: Eye Cream

Misa Cho Bo Yang Eye Cream, Missha $35

Another Soko-Glam 10-Step favorite. This eye cream feels so luxurious, and is super hydrating. When I use this at night I wake up and my under-eyes look like I have had 10+ hours of sleep.

Step 5: Serum

Luna Sleeping Night Oil, Sunday Riley $105

I started to use this last month and I have been loving it. The retinol oil in this product leaves my skin so plump and bright in the morning. It also fights against wrinkles and fine lines (score!). It is on the pricer side, but this will last a long time because you only need to use the tiniest amount.

Step 6: Treatment

Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment, Sunday Riley $105

Again, this product is on the pricer side, but so worth it. Lactic acid is another ingredient you want to look for to combat fine lines and wrinkles. This product also helps with dullness and uneven skin texture, and after a months use I have definitely noticed a difference. I do not use this every night, usually three times a week.

*Here is a good starter kit if you are interested in trying the Luna Sleeping Oil and Good Genes

Step 7: Moisturize

Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream, Sunday Riley $65

I picked this up when I picked up my other two Sunday Riley products, and the three of these products together is a skin’s best friend. It is so light, and non-greasy but leaves the skin so moisturized and plump. I would highly recommend this product!

Morning Skincare

Step 1: Cleanse

Ultra Facial Cleanser, Kiehl’s $19.50

I have been using this cleanser for YEARS, and I still love it. It is very mild, so it will not irritate or dry out your skin. I use this in the morning while I am in the shower to wash off everything from my night routine for a fresh start.

Step 2: Eye Cream

Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado, Kiehl’s $29

Eye cream is hands-down the most important step for your skincare routine (stay away under-eye wrinkles!). I have been using this eye cream for years, it is great for daytime because it is hydrating, but sinks into the skin and leaves a nice base for under-eye concealer .

Step 3: Moisturize

Ultra Facial Moisturizer with SPF 30, Kiehl’s $31

I swear this post is in no way sponsored by Keihl’s, I just love their products! This moisturizer is super hydrating, has SPF 30, and will not make you feel greasy. It is the perfect base for makeup.

Well there you have it, my morning and evening skincare Winter routine for glowy skin! Hope you all are staying warm, it is a snow day here in Boston!

XO, K

  1. I have tried every expensive eye and facial cream. Kiehl’s always reigns supreme. Reasonably priced , not greasy and smells so clean! As you get older you just want to use a “tried and true” product.
