Dressing for Work: JCrew Factory

Shirt (old, similar here and here) | Skirt | Tights | Boots | Purse (old, new version here)

Dressing for work can be tough, especially if you have a pretty strict dress code (I do!). I am constantly looking for stores/pieces that offer comfortable, stylish options (because let’s be real, work clothes can be so drab) that won’t break the bank.

I worked at JCrew for a stint when I graduated undergrad, and during that time I fell in love with their more affordable factory store. JCrew Factory is a great place to shop if you work in an office environment (like I do!), school, and they also have a great casual selection.

Work clothes can get pricey, especially when you are purchasing blazers and suiting. JCrew Factory has office staples such as blazers, pencil skirts, and suiting separates at affordable prices (because let’s be real, I work in education so affordability matters!). And their pieces are also stylish! It is so hard to find work clothes that are stylish, flattering and appropriate for the office, but they have it all!

Here are a few of my work favorites from JCrew Factory:

1.Pencil Skirt in Double-Serge Wool, $39.50 (Pictured Above)

2. Schoolboy Blazer, $69

3. Lightweight Wool Pencil Skirt, $39.50

4. Oxford Shirt, $32

5. Layered Circle Necklace, $19.50

6. Leopard Teddie Sweater, $34.50

What are your go-to stores for your work wardrobe?

Have a great day!
