Sweater | Leggings (sized up to a medium)
We have a snow day here in Boston! I feel like a little kid being snowed in and not having to go to work. It is hard to believe that December and the holidays are already over! Here is what I loved for fashion and beauty in the month of December.
Fashion Favorites
BP. Cozy Mock Neck Sweater, Nordstrom (pictured above)
I have been wearing this sweater all month! It is so cozy and soft (and not itchy!). It comes in so many cute colors that I think I need them all! And for under $50, it won’t break the bank.
I think I wore this long sleeve tee more than any other item in my wardrobe in December. It is so easy to pair with jeans or tucked into a pencil skirt for work. It also washes and dries really well (bonus!).
BP. Cable Knit Cardigan, Nordstrom
I’m telling you ladies, Nordstrom’s Fall/Winter collection has been amazing this year! I have been living in the cardi on these cold chilly Boston days. It’s super soft, and the perfect color grey that goes with everything. Sizing tip: runs big, order a size down.
BP. Raw Edge V-Neck Tee, Nordstrom
I have this tee in black and white, and it is hands-down the best v-neck tee I own. I love layering this under cardigans, or under a blazer if I am at work. This is for sure a basic staple!
BB Dakota. Elvan Vest, Revolve
I have been searching high and low for the perfect faux fur vest, and oh baby, this is the one. I love BB Dakota, the seriously have the best faux pieces and feel so high quality.
Beauty Favorites
I try a lot of different mascara, but I haven’t really loved any I have tried recently, until this one. If you have short eyelashes (like me!), this is the mascara for you. It lengthens and adds volumes to your lashes (I need everything I can get!).
Lancome. Cils Booster XL Vitamin Infused Mascara Primer
This paired with the Lancome Monsieur Big mascara is my dream team. I was skeptical on spending that much on a primer, but believe me, it is so worth it. My lashes look so much longer and fuller when I use this, it’s official, I am hooked.
MAC. Cremesheen Lipstick in Hangup
I have a hard time finding dark shades of lipstick, but this one is beautiful! It is buildable so you can do a lighter, or if you are feeling brave you can go full on dark lip. This color is a really flattering dark lip option if you are just hopping on the dark lip bandwagon.
Tarte. Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Contour Concealer, Ulta
This stuff is life changing. I’ve always had dark under eye circles and I have tried literally every concealer and corrector that claims to help with dark circles. This is by far the best. It makes me look like I got 12+ hours of sleep and leaves my under eyes so bright. Best part, it doesn’t crease!!
Becca. Under Eye Brightening Corrector, Sephora
If you have really dark under eye circles like me, you need to try this. I apply this before the Tarte Shape Tape and the two work wonders together.
What were your December favorites?
Stay warm!
